All orders are shipped via UPS Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. Express orders including 3rd Day, 2nd Day and Overnight placed Monday - Friday after 12 PM Pacific Time will be processed the following business day. Express orders placed Saturday - Sunday will be processed Monday. Express orders are not available for P.O. Box addresses.

 

International customers are responsible for all local duties and taxes.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

OFFICIAL RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

 

EFFECTIVE DATE:  This policy applies to all orders placed on or after Monday, March 30, 2026. Orders placed before this date will continue to be honored under our previous return policy.

OUR APPROACH TO RETURNS

MISA Los Angeles is a fully vertical brand. Every piece is designed, developed, produced, and fulfilled under one roof in our Los Angeles studio — from the original print concept through the final stitch to the moment your order is packed and shipped. We are close to every step of the process, and that proximity is what allows us to stand behind the quality, craft, and detail of every garment we make.

 

That closeness also shapes how we think about returns. When a piece comes back to us, it returns to the same hands that made it. We know exactly what condition it left in, and we inspect it with the same standard we applied when it went out.

 

We’ve built this policy for the customer who notices and values what goes into a well-made piece — and who expects the experience around it to reflect that same level of intention. What that means in practice: generous options when something doesn’t work out, a transparent process, and a commitment to treating your time and your purchase with care.

WHAT WE OFFER

STORE CREDIT & EXCHANGES

For all returns, store credit is our default resolution. We believe this is the most thoughtful way to honor your purchase while ensuring you find something you truly love within our collection.

 

Prefer a different size or style? Our customer care team will guide you through an exchange personally. Because our styles are produced in limited quantities, exchanges are subject to current availability. If your preferred item has sold out, we’ll issue store credit so you can shop when the time is right.

 

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your exchange and dispatch your new piece promptly.

FULL REFUNDS — NEW CUSTOMERS

Discovering a new brand — especially one with distinctive fits, considered proportions and a diverse fabrication offering — takes time. We’re here to make that process effortless.

 

  Your first two purchases with MISA are eligible for a full refund, allowing you to explore our silhouettes with confidence.

 

Eligibility is determined by email address, shipping and billing addressees and purchase history. All orders placed under the same email — including guest checkout — count toward your first two purchases.

 

Once you’ve had the chance to find your fit, all subsequent returns follow our standard store credit and exchange policy.

FULL REFUNDS — DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Every piece is inspected before it leaves our warehouse. If your order arrives damaged, we will issue a full refund once received and inspected. Because we control the entire process from production through fulfillment, we don’t take these situations lightly — and we’ll make it right.

 

To file a damage claim, email returns@misalosangeles.com within 5 business days of delivery with a photo of the issue. Claims submitted without supporting images may require additional review.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

We understand that life doesn’t always follow a standard policy. If your situation falls outside the guidelines above, please reach out — we review these on a case-by-case basis and will always do our best to find a thoughtful resolution.

RETURN REQUIREMENTS

We ask that you return each piece with the same care it was made with. To be eligible, all of the following must be met:

 

       Returns must be initiated within 10 business days of delivery.

       Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and free of odor, pet hair, or signs of use.

       All original tags must be attached. Items received without tags will not be accepted.

       Items must be returned in their original packaging. If original packaging is unavailable, please ship in a protective bag or box to prevent damage in transit.

       Items purchased at 40% off or more — whether through a sale, promo code, or any combined discount — are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

       Accessories are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Because we produce in limited quantities and control the process from start to finish, we inspect every return with the same rigor we apply before a piece ships. Items that arrive showing signs of wear, washing, alteration, or missing tags will be returned to the customer at their expense — out of respect for the craft and for the next customer who will wear them.

GIFT RETURNS

  Gift returns are eligible for store credit or exchange only — no refunds, as the original payment was not made by the recipient.

  To initiate a gift return, email returns@misalosangeles.com with the gift giver’s order number (if available) or the item details.

STORE CREDIT DETAILS

  Store credit is issued to the email address associated with the original order and is non-transferable.

  Store credit does not expire.

  To redeem, log in to your account at checkout — any available credit will appear as a payment option.

  Items purchased with store credit follow the same return policy. Returns on store-credit purchases will be reissued as store credit.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Email returns@misalosangeles.com as soon as possible. Because we handle fulfillment in-house, we can often catch an order before it’s packed — but once it’s been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and will need to follow the standard return process.

HOW TO RETURN, STEP BY STEP

STEP 1  CONTACT US

Email returns@misalosangeles.com to initiate your return. Please use the same email address you used to place your order.

 

In your email, include:

  Your order number and full name in the subject line

  The reason for your return in the body of the email

  A photo of the item (if applicable — helps our team assess and speeds up your case)

STEP 2  REVIEW & APPROVAL

Please allow up to 5 business days for our team to review your request. As part of this process, we review your order details and return history to determine the appropriate resolution.

 

Once approved, we’ll send detailed instructions for shipping your return.

 

Return packages should be received at our studio within the next 5 business days. 

 

If we don’t receive the item(s) within that timeframe the return request will expire and a new request will need to be submitted.

STEP 3  SHIP IT BACK

Upon approval, a prepaid shipping label will be sent to you. Please ensure your return reaches our studio within 5 business days of approval.

 

Returns received after this window or without prior approval may be declined.

STEP 4  INSPECTION & CREDIT

When your return arrives, it goes back to the same team that made and packed it. Allow 2–3 business days for inspection and processing. Because we produce in limited runs, this step ensures every garment meets our standards before it’s offered to the next customer. If anything needs attention, we’ll reach out directly.

 

Once everything checks out, your store credit will be issued to the email address associated with your original order.

OUR COMMITMENT TO FAIRNESS

This policy is built on mutual respect — between a brand that designs, produces, and fulfills every order under one roof, and the customers who value that work and attention to detail. The vast majority of our clients treat their MISA pieces, and our return process, with the same consideration. We intend to preserve that standard.

 

We review the purchase and return history associated with every account. This allows us to continue offering a generous policy to customers who use it in good faith, and to identify patterns that may indicate misuse — including excessive returns, returns of worn or altered items, accounts created to circumvent first-time buyer eligibility, or activity inconsistent with personal use.

 

We reserve the right to limit, decline, or modify return privileges for accounts that demonstrate these patterns. If a return is declined, we’ll always communicate the reason clearly and work with you to find a fair path forward.

 

Protecting this process is what allows us to keep making things the way we make them — and to keep offering a policy this generous.

A NOTE ON OUR RETAIL PARTNERS

MISA Los Angeles is available through a number of distinguished retail partners — including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Revolve, Rent the Runway, and ShopBop — each of whom operate their own return policies.

 

Purchases made through a retail partner must be returned directly to that retailer. We’re unable to process returns or issue credit for orders placed outside of misalosangeles.com.

 

If a broader return window is something you value, we warmly encourage you to explore purchasing through these partners, where their respective policies may better suit your needs.

 

ORDERS PLACED BEFORE MARCH 30, 2026  If your order was placed before the effective date, our previous return policy applies in full. Please reference the policy in your original order confirmation, or contact us at returns@misalosangeles.com and we’ll take care of you.

MISA Shipping Policy

Free shipping on all U.S. orders over $150.

All domestic orders ship via UPS, Monday–Friday (no holidays).
Standard orders ship within 2 business days from our Los Angeles warehouse if the item is in stock.
Pre-order items may require additional time.

Express Shipping

3-Day, 2-Day, and Overnight orders placed after 12 PM PT (Mon–Fri) ship the next business day.
Express orders placed on weekends ship on Monday.
We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

During high-volume periods, orders may take up to 5 business days to ship.

International customers are responsible for all applicable duties and taxes.

Refused Shipments

If you refuse a shipment, you will be responsible for all duties, taxes, customs fees, and the cost of returning the package to our Los Angeles warehouse. These amounts will be deducted from your refund.
